YURAI is a craft jewelry brand.


Rooted in Japanese traditions, techniques, and regionally sourced materials, YURAI develops new styles grounded in craftsmanship. The brand inherits and expresses the aesthetic sensibilities that people have cultivated along the path of craft — the very origin and lineage embodied in the name “YURAI.”


In the hand-painted series, the floral motif features the peony pattern, a traditional Nabeshima design from Imari ware (Nabeshima ware). The delicacy of the painting and the understated brilliance of the gold detailing add an elegant touch. These pieces pair beautifully with both chic modern outfits and traditional Japanese attire.


This ceramic jewelry series was created in collaboration with Hataman Touen, a kiln based in Imari, Saga Prefecture. The motifs in this collection are inspired by the rim shapes of traditional plates—such as kikyo-shaped, mokko-shaped, and hexagonal dishes—playfully exploring the blurred boundary between tableware and jewelry. While carrying a nostalgic Japanese character, the sharp, refined forms and the combination of ceramic and metal create a striking and distinctive series.
