A beautifully crafted katakuchi matcha bowl from the “Hanakessho” (Flower Crystal) collection, featuring a unique world of crystal glaze patterns that bloom like flowers.
It is made at “KIWAKOTO,” a workshop specializing in Kiyomizu ware in Kyoto.
Crystal glaze is a highly distinctive type of glaze that forms stunning crystalline patterns during the melting and cooling process in firing. The “Hanakessho” collection was created to highlight this one-of-a-kind characteristic.
Each piece in the Hanakessho collection features entirely unique crystal shapes and expressions—no two are ever the same. Enjoy the subtle differences in each piece, whether as a decorative object or for everyday use. Combining beauty and functionality, this bowl blends naturally into daily life and also makes an excellent gift.
Available in two colors: Ash Blue and Cherry Blossom.
