A katakuchi matcha bowl from the “Hanakessho” collection, featuring a beautiful world of crystal glazes that spread like blooming flowers.

This piece is handcrafted at the Kiyomizu-yaki pottery studio “KIWAKOTO” in Kyoto.

Crystal glaze is a highly distinctive type of glaze that creates beautiful crystalline patterns through the melting and cooling process during firing. The “Hanakessho” collection was born by making the most of this one-of-a-kind characteristic.

Each Hanakessho piece has a completely unique crystal form and expression—no two are ever the same. Enjoy the subtle differences in each piece, whether displayed as décor or used in your daily life.
